What is a cookie?
The vast majority of websites that you will have used most likely used cookies in one way or another. Cookies are used by websites in order to store information that is able to remember you either for this current visit or for subsequent visits. It's all about enhancing the experience for the user.

Cookies
Games Centre's website, like many others, uses cookies which allow us to monitor your actions while on the site and identify what items you view. It's also used to keep track of any items that you've added to your basket.
Cookies are being used purely to make GamesCentre.co.uk as easy and simple to use as possible for all our customers. Some customers may not wish to have cookies that store their data but in order to use GamesCentre.co.uk cookies need to be enabled as the site won't function correctly otherwise.
Without cookies enabled, the site will not run correctly and there will issues with your experience on the website. Having cookies disabled will mean there is no way to keep track of what you are doing on the site, including adding items to the basket.

Deleting Cookies
If you are unhappy with cookies being stored then it is possible to delete them. After 20 minutes away from the site, the cookies will delete automatically.
Firefox: To disable cookies in Firefox, open Firefox and click on the "Firefox" tab then "Options". Then select "Privacy" and in the "Firefox will" drop-down menu, choose "Use custom settings for history". From here click on "Show Cookies" and then they can be deleted.
Google Chrome: To disable cookies in Google Chrome open Google Chrome and click on the wrench icon then select "Settings". Click on "Show advanced settings" and then, in the privacy tab, click the "Content settings" button then select "All cookies and site data". From here, cookies can be deleted.
Internet Explorer: To disable cookies in Internet Explorer open Internet Explorer and select "Tools", "Internet Options". Then click on the "General" tab and select "Delete". From here, select "Cookies", then delete to delete them.
These methods may be slightly different depending on the version of the browser you are using. It is also possible to disable cookies in a similar way.
Again, without cookies being enabled it will not be possible to use the Games Centre website to it's fullest extent.
